Xresources color scheme generator
Export any five-role color scheme in classic .Xresources format — *.background, *.foreground, *.cursorColor, and the full color0 through color15 set — for xterm, urxvt, and anything else that reads X resources.
It’s the lingua franca of Unix terminal theming: many tools (and theme converters) accept Xresources directly, so this export doubles as a portable interchange format.
Open the Studio → make your own free · no signup · exports as .Xresources
How to install
- Generate a scheme in the Studio, open the Themes tab, select Xresources
- Download the .Xresources file (or copy the lines into your existing one)
- Merge it: xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources
- Restart your terminal to pick up the new colors
