Base16 scheme generator

Export any five-role color scheme as a Base16 scheme — the de-facto standard of the Tinted Theming ecosystem. The YAML defines base00 through base0F: a monotonic background-to-foreground ramp in your scheme’s hues, plus the eight semantic accents (red for variables and errors, green for strings, blue for functions, and so on).

The leverage is the template ecosystem: one Base16 file compiles into configs for hundreds of applications — Neovim, tmux, WezTerm, fzf, bat, shells, editors — so this single export themes your entire toolchain at once.

How to install

  1. Generate a scheme in the Studio, open the Themes tab, select Base16
  2. Download colorschemes-base16.yaml
  3. Use any Tinted Theming builder or template (github.com/tinted-theming) to compile it for your apps
  4. Or use it directly with base16 plugins like tinted-vim / base16-nvim by pointing them at the palette
