Alacritty theme generator

Turn any five-role color scheme into an Alacritty theme in modern TOML format — [colors.primary], cursor, selection, and complete [colors.normal] and [colors.bright] ANSI tables.

The generator keeps the six ANSI hues at their conventional anchors with the scheme’s saturation, and swaps the scheme’s primary and accent into their nearest slots — so git diffs, ls output, and your prompt all pick up the palette naturally.

How to install

  1. Generate a scheme in the Studio, open the Themes tab, select Alacritty
  2. Download colorschemes-alacritty.toml (or copy the TOML)
  3. Save it next to your config, e.g. ~/.config/alacritty/colorschemes.toml
  4. Add it to ~/.config/alacritty/alacritty.toml under general.import: import = ["~/.config/alacritty/colorschemes.toml"]
